The official spokesperson of the Saudi Civil Defense stated that on Sunday, the Civil Defense began responding to the fall of a military projectile on a residential site of a maintenance and cleaning company in Al-Kharj Governorate. The incident resulted in two fatalities, one Indian and one Bangladeshi national, and injured 12 residents of Bangladeshi nationality, as well as causing material damage. The spokesperson emphasized, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA), that attempts to target civilian objects are a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, and all approved procedures have been followed in such cases. The Saudi Civil Defense announced the fall of a military projectile on a residential site in Al-Kharj, leaving two dead and 12 injured.
