The federation clarified in a comment to the Saudi newspaper 'Al-Riyadh', which published the news of the dismissal, that the report is incorrect. The French coach, who led the Saudi national team to the FIFA World Cup finals twice, will coach Saudi Arabia's final match in the Arabian Cup tomorrow against our national team. This match will determine the teams that will finish third and fourth. Renard faced fierce criticism following the Saudi team's 1-0 defeat to their Jordanian counterpart in the semi-finals of the Arabian Cup. Previously, Renard had warned about the impact of the large number of foreign players in the Saudi league on the national team's level, given the limited participation of key players with their clubs.
