Al-Shabab criticizes refereeing after loss to Al-Nassr

Following a statement from Al-Hilal targeting coach Jorge Jesus of Al-Nassr, Al-Shabab issued a statement after their 2-3 loss to Al-Nassr. The statement criticized the refereeing led by Mohammed Al-Huwais and demanded the exclusion of some referees, including Al-Huwais, from their matches due to recurring errors, as described in the statement. The wave of statements and criticisms directed by clubs in the Saudi Pro League continues to unfold and occupies a significant space alongside the refereeing incidents that accompanied the matches in rounds 15 and 16. Prior to Al-Shabab, Al-Taawoun had issued a similar statement following their 1-2 defeat to Al-Ahli under the same referee. Al-Kholood also complained about the refereeing performance by Majed in their match against Al-Ahli.
