Ronaldo: Scoring in Saudi Arabia is harder than in Spain

Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr's captain, Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, stated that scoring goals in the Saudi league is much harder than in the Spanish league due to the strength of physical battles and the difference in climatic conditions between Europe and the Gulf region. Ronaldo confirmed this in the second part of his interview with British journalist Piers Morgan: "Anyone who hasn't played here (in Saudi Arabia) knows nothing." He added: "Playing in temperatures over 40 degrees and scoring goals in Saudi Arabia is much more difficult than in Spain." Ronaldo also clarified that goals scored in the Saudi league should be counted in the race for the Golden Boot. He noted that the Saudi league is better than the Portuguese one and features many world-class players.
