A major telecommunications operator in Saudi Arabia - Mobily - has received a license to use the frequency of 120 megahertz for 15 years. The total value of this license amounted to 2.485 billion riyals (661.41 million dollars).
As the company specified, the acquired license allows Mobily to enhance its infrastructure and provide better quality telecommunications services to its clients. Moreover, this decision contributes to the development of the digital economy in the country.
"We are pleased to receive this license, which allows us to expand and improve our operations. This is an excellent investment in the future of the company and our users," noted a Mobily representative.
The company also stated that it aims to increase investments in technology and innovation to remain leaders in the mobile communications market.
