OPEC Raises Global Economic Growth Forecast

OPEC has slightly increased its global economic growth projections to 3.1% for 2024 and 3.0% for 2025, reflecting improving economic conditions.

The OPEC has raised its global economic growth forecasts slightly, to 3.1% for 2024 and 3.0% for 2025. These adjustments are made in connection with the upcoming moderate recovery in the global economy.

According to the Organization, it expects an increase in global GDP due to the stabilization of oil markets, increased consumer demand, and investments. These factors will contribute to increased activity in the oil sector and overall in the world.

"Despite certain challenges and risks, OPEC believes that the economy will continue to strengthen after the period of instability caused by the pandemic," a spokesperson for the Organization emphasized.

However, in connection with rising inflation and changes in global trade relations, some economists express caution about the future growth of the global economy.
