Stock Performance Fluctuates in GCC

The actions on the stock markets of the Soviet Union and the countries of the Persian Gulf showed mixed trends.

As reported by the news agency, the main index of the Kuwait exchange closed on a positive note, rising by 0.6%. It is likely that the investor sentiment improved ahead of the publication of the annual financial report of the company.

The exchanges in Oman and Qatar also showed growth, closing up by 0.4% and 0.3% respectively. At the same time, the stocks in Saudi Arabia and the UAE fell by 0.5% and 0.8%.

In their commentary, analysts note that investors are following news about the global economy and are reacting to changes in the policies of central banks in different countries.

Interestingly, it should be noted that the stocks of the largest companies in the banking and finance sector in the region showed mixed results, which indicates a vague sentiment of the investors.
