Saudi Arabia Confirms Drone Attack on US Embassy

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the launch of a thirteenth wave of attacks against US bases in countries such as Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, as well as against Israel, within the framework of an operation called "True Promise 4". Meanwhile, the US State Department has asked its citizens to immediately leave 14 countries and territories in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, due to what it described as "serious risks" to their security following the start of the US military offensive. However, Washington warned that the conflict could intensify in the coming weeks. In parallel, the Saudi Ministry of Defense confirmed on Monday that the US Embassy in Riyadh was attacked by two drones, causing a small fire and minor material damage to the building, with no casualties reported so far. Following the incident, the US diplomatic mission issued a security alert ordering its personnel and American citizens in the country to "immediately take shelter" in the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dhahran, and to limit non-essential travel, especially near military installations. The embassy urged its citizens to maintain a personal security plan, avoid demonstrations and large gatherings, and strictly follow the instructions of local authorities. US media, including CNN, reported that the drones are allegedly linked to Iran, although this information has not been officially confirmed by either Washington or Riyadh. The attack occurs amid a sharp escalation in the Middle East.
