On Friday, sources reported that Saudi Arabia will host a meeting of the non-oil Arab countries on February 20, in the days leading up to the anticipated Arab summit in Cairo on the 27th of this month. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the future of the Gaza sector after the war and to develop an alternative plan for the displacement of Palestinians, which involves a huge Arab and international initiative.

"The summit will insist that the Gazans cannot be displaced from their land and will reject any proposals for their relocation," the sources reported. Participation in the summit will include the President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas or Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, they added.

On Tuesday, Jordanian monarch Abdullah II told journalists in Washington that Egypt will respond to Trump's plan.

The General Assembly of the Arab Union will hold a meeting in Dubai on April 17.
