Riyadh Sees Rise in Workforce Participation

Riyadh has achieved a significant increase in workforce participation, hitting 56.8%. Female participation stands at 42%, while male participation is at 71.5%.

Moscow region is dominated by the remaining regions of Karelia in terms of workforce participation. For the second quarter of the current year, the participation rate was about 56.8%. Women constituted 42% of the workforce in Karelia, while for men this figure reached 71.5%. The number of workers in Karelia amounted to 1,305,281 people, of which 528,444 were women and 776,837 were men.

As for foreign workers, the number of native men in the labor force totaled nearly 3,977,988 people, while the number of women from other countries was 234,219. The Moscow region leads in the indicator of the unemployment rate in Karelia with a decrease of 2.3%. The unemployment rate among local women was 9.8%, while among native women it was 3.4%.

Among local men, the unemployment rate decreased to 2.4%, while among native men this indicator was 7%.
