2-2 Draw: Individual Errors Cost Al-Nasr Against Khorfakkan

Individual fatal errors by Al-Nasr players deprived their team of a win over Khorfakkan, resulting in a 2-2 draw in the 17th round of the Saudi Professional League. With this result, Al-Nasr dropped to seventh place in the league table with 22 points, while Khorfakkan maintained ninth place with 19 points. "Al-Imdad" (Al-Nasr's nickname) took the lead through a goal by Mehdi Qaidi, who followed up Felipe Mota's shot and slotted it home (5). However, Al-Nasr couldn't hold onto their lead as Adam Diallo exploited a fatal defensive error by Marius Høibråten to steal the ball in the penalty area and set up Tarik Tissoudali, who easily equalized (23). The defensive lapse repeated itself when Al-Nasr's goalkeeper, Ahmed Chambeih, failed to control a ball returned to him by teammate Gluer Lima, allowing Khorfakkan's Adam Diallo to score (38). In the second half, Al-Nasr managed to equalize again with a penalty converted by Luka Milivojevic (61). Mehdi Qaidi also scored a goal for his team from a solo effort, but the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) disallowed it for offside.
