Al-Qadsiah Demands Saudi Super Cup Final Replay

Media reports have revealed a new and surprising development in the Saudi Super Cup case following an official move by Al-Qadsiah club's management to demand a replay of the final match and inclusion in it. The details of the case date back to the crisis caused by Al-Hilal's withdrawal from the tournament before it began, a decision that prompted the Saudi Football Federation to choose Al-Ahli as their replacement to face Al-Qadsiah in the semi-final, before 'The Royal' was later crowned Super Cup champion after defeating Al-Qadsiah and then Al-Nassr in the final. According to sports sources, Al-Qadsiah has submitted an official request to the Saudi Center for Sports Arbitration to be included as a party in the ongoing case between Al-Hilal and the Football Federation regarding the Super Cup. The club confirmed its right to be considered a finalist and demanded a rematch against Al-Nassr, in addition to receiving the financial rewards for reaching the final. It is worth noting that the Football Federation had previously imposed a fine of 500,000 riyals on Al-Hilal, in addition to banning it from participating in any knockout tournaments in the future, following its withdrawal from the last edition of the Super Cup.
