Sebastian Molano Secures Third Place in Saudi Arabia

In the framework of the Tour in the Al-Ula region of Saudi Arabia, UAE Team Emirates rider Sebastián Molano took third place in the third stage. The rider raced with Tim Merlier from Soudal-Quickstep in the last 500 meters, however, the gap increased at the last turn, and Merlier emerged victorious, ahead of Dylan Groenewegen from Jumbo-Visma, while Molano remained in third place.

The stage was held in strong wind, leading to the formation of different groups. Only 40 riders made it to the finish of this stage, covering a distance of 180.6 kilometers, from Hegra to the Al-Ula Castle. Molano himself noted: "It was a tough day, very fast with a strong wind that created significant splits. We faced a multitude of obstacles and uneven surfaces, which made the race very difficult. We are in good shape and will try again in the last stage."
