The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Iraqi ambassador to the kingdom, Safia Al-Sahlil, on Sunday. This was due to the continued aggressions and explicit threats targeting the Kingdom and the Gulf sister states, originating from marches that began from Iraqi territory. The Saudi Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Attiyah, while handing over a protest note to the Iraqi ambassador, emphasized the Kingdom's condemnation and rejection of the aggressions emanating from Iraqi territory towards the Kingdom and Gulf states. He stressed the importance of Iraq dealing responsibly with these threats and aggressions. The Kingdom reiterated its categorical rejection of violating the sovereignty of states and attempting to threaten the security and stability of the region. It also confirmed that it will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its lands.
