The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday the execution of two citizens of the country for their crimes. Authorities reported that both convicted individuals were sentenced to capital punishment for serious offenses.

One of the convicted was found guilty of murder, committed while under the influence of alcohol, which contravenes the laws of the country. The second convicted was found guilty of a series of offenses that fall under the laws of societal and state protection.

After studying the evidence presented by the prosecutor, conducting hearings, and the appeals of the defendants, a death sentence was issued. According to the legislation of Saudi Arabia, death sentences are imposed on those who have committed serious offenses, such as murder, rape, or terrorist activities.

Regarding the death sentence, a representative of the ministry stated that the country strictly adheres to the law and supports human rights organizations in combating crime in all its forms.
