The Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Center participated in the 37th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council's General Secretariat for Document and Studies Centers in Saudi Arabia, focusing on cultural heritage cooperation among member states.

Administration of research and the research center Hamdana bin Mukhammed on the preservation of heritage took part in the 37th session of the General Secretariat of the Document and Research Centers Council of Arab States of the Persian Gulf, which was held at the National Document and Archives Center in Saudi Arabia under the chairmanship of the general secretary Dr. Fahd bin Abdallah Al-Samarri, with the participation of the chairpersons of member centers. The participation of the Hamdana bin Mukhammed Center in preserving heritage at this event is conditioned by its outstanding status in the General Secretariat, as well as a source and authority on the preservation and publication of national heritage in the United Arab Emirates, while its goal includes strengthening the national heritage of the Emirates and its transmission between generations, as well as in signaling with it at regional and global levels. The Center will also work on preserving the memory of the United Arab Emirates.

The director of the research and studies department of Hamdana bin Mukhammed on the preservation of heritage Fatima bint Hariz emphasized that this event is aimed at strengthening cooperation and coordination between the document and research centers in the Council of cooperation of Arab states of the Persian Gulf with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experience in the field of preserving documents, manuscripts and cultural heritage. She added that the Hamdana bin Mukhammed Center for the preservation of heritage always strives to participate in such meetings, contributing to strengthening the role of cultural institutions of the Persian Gulf in preserving the local heritage of the region and developing mechanisms for preserving and documenting cultural materials in cooperation with the best practices in the world.

She emphasized that during these meetings, the Center represents key initiatives and projects launched in the field of preserving cultural heritage and documents, and also emphasizes the importance of joint cooperation among all interested Gulf states for the purpose of strengthening the integration and unification of efforts to protect the cultural identity of the region. She stressed that the Hamdana bin Mukhammed Center for the preservation of heritage will continue to develop and strengthen initiatives that contribute to the preservation of the heritage of the homeland and region, and it will also continue to work on strengthening partnerships with relevant centers in the countries of the Council of cooperation of Arab states of the Persian Gulf with the aims of protecting cultural documents for future generations.
