Al‑Nassr club announced today that its player Gustavo Alex has suffered an ACL tear. In an official statement, medical tests confirmed the tear of the left knee’s anterior cruciate ligament, caused by the injury sustained during Al‑Nassr’s match against Al‑Bataih in the ninth round of the ADNOC Professional League. The club said Alex will be flown to Porto, Portugal, for surgery under the approved treatment plan.
Gustavo Alex remarked: "I’m grateful for the support and ready to undergo all necessary procedures to return to the game as soon as possible".
