Celebrating Khairat Al-Dar

The main hall of Al Jubail market opened in Kulaaba Zawara amid a festive atmosphere, in sync with the “Winter Jubail 2025” festival. The Khairat Al-Dar event aims to cement a culture of local consumption and support national products. The event serves as a platform where farmers and consumers meet to showcase the stages of agriculture from seed to harvest. This integration reflects the stakeholders’ desire to engage the community in the food supply chain. It highlights the importance of local production in strengthening the national economy.

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced its continued promotion of activities under the “Sharjah Shopping Offers 2025-2026” series, launching Khairat Al-Dar in Kulaaba. This move is part of a strategy to encourage local production and create job opportunities in the agricultural sector. The event also includes educational programs on sustainable farming techniques. Experts were invited to conduct workshops for emerging farmers. This initiative supports the region’s development goals.

Several incentives were activated, including the distribution of thirty Khairat Al-Dar baskets through theater contests and the provision of two hundred new saplings. A financial prize was also offered for the “Best Photo” competition showcasing agricultural products. These offers were announced during the opening ceremony to encourage farmers to adopt new agricultural practices. The incentives aim to motivate farmers to improve the quality of their output. The event concludes with a call to active participation in supporting local agriculture.
