According to this decision by the Supreme Court No. 191 from July 29, 1446 of the Hijri calendar, August 1, 1446 of the Hijri calendar corresponds to January 31, 2025 of the Gregorian calendar, the beginning of the month of Shaban 1446 of the Hijri calendar has been determined. Consequently, the Supreme Court calls on all Muslims to pay attention to the appearance of the new moon of Ramadan on the evening of Friday, the 29th of Ramadan 1446 of the Hijri calendar, which corresponds to February 28, 2025 of the Gregorian calendar," - states the official statement of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court also requests those who see the new moon with their own eyes or through optical instruments to communicate with the nearest court and provide their testimony or contact the nearest center for assistance in reaching the court. The Supreme Court hopes that all interested parties will take responsibility and join the committees established in various regions for this purpose, and will participate, receiving rewards for their participation, in the effort of the Muslim community for cooperation and charity.
