The following table contains information about the decision of the Egyptian stores "بلبنان" to open their branches in Saudi Arabia after closing their outlets last month due to suspected cases of food poisoning. The company's page on Facebook published an official statement today in which it announced the expected decision to reopen branches in Saudi Arabia, "a country that welcomed the company and is considered the starting point for its activities in the Arabian Peninsula."

The company noted that this decision was made in parallel with the beginning of the crisis resolution in Egypt by the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. It emphasized that it has gone through difficult days, expressing gratitude to everyone who has extended support verbally or through actions.

Earlier, Saudi health authorities announced the closure of all branches of the "بلبن" store chain in various regions of the kingdom following the registration of cases of collective food poisoning among citizens in the capital.

Subsequently, the Egyptian company announced the closure of all its branches in Egypt, appealing to the government with a request for intervention to allow the arising issue to be resolved. It emphasized that its operations are fully suspended within Egypt after the closure of all 110 branches, as well as factories and enterprises employing 25,000 Egyptians. The company stated that it is purely an Egyptian enterprise, emerging thanks to national labor, spread across 9 Arab countries and achieving significant successes in the food products and beverages sector.
