As part of new agreements, Aqua Power announced the acquisition of the company for 693 million dollars. This deal will occur simultaneously with global energy infrastructure investment funding. They made this decision as part of their strategy to expand their portfolio in Saudi Arabia and other countries.
The Vice-President of Aqua Power, Mokhammed Abdulladzh, underscored the importance of this deal and its prospects for the company.
"We are pleased to cooperate with a group of investors who share our mission to become a leader in the infrastructure sector in the region," he noted.
Currently, Aqua Power's main assets are its portfolio in the field of generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Vietnam. The deal will help them strengthen this business and expand the geography of their presence.
Such strategic actions by companies allow them to enhance their market position and provide a broader range of services for consumer electricity.
