The monthly seasonally adjusted purchasing index for Saudivision increased to 60.5 in the past month from 58.4 in December, marking the highest level since September 2014. The sharp growth in significance is attributed to the largest increase in new orders since July 2011, when its indicator accelerated to 71.1 in January from 65.5 in the previous month. It is noted that the increase in demand was supported by a survey conducted on Tuesday, partially from the non-oil sector of Saudivision, which rose at its maximum rate for almost a decade in January, thanks to an increase in new orders and business activity. A reading above 50 indicates growth.
