Representatives of OPEC+ told Reuters that the group is likely to leave its plans to increase oil production in January. Oil production is expected to be increased by 400,000 barrels per day.
These steps are aimed at maintaining balance in the oil market and ensuring price stability for oil. Since the beginning of the OPEC+ pandemic, decisions have been made to limit oil production to cope with the decline in demand for oil due to restrictions related to the coronavirus.
"We need to remain flexible and ready for any changes in the market," noted representatives of OPEC+.
