Al-Nassr Football Club has signed Norwegian defender Marius Høibråten to an 18-month contract. Previously, the club signed Turkish defender Serdar Aziz on a loan from Trabzonspor to bolster the center-back position. Høibråten has a distinguished professional career in Norwegian football, having played for several prominent clubs, including Lillestrøm, Strømsgodset, Sandefjord, and Bodø/Glimt, with whom he won the Norwegian league titles in 2020 and 2021. He has also featured in European competitions such as the UEFA Europa League 2022-2023 and the UEFA Conference League, as well as participating in the Champions League qualifiers. On the Asian front, the Norwegian defender had a successful stint with Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds, where he won the AFC Champions League in 2021-2022.
