Aleksandr Mitrovic, the best forward from Serbia, missed his team's training with "Al-Hilal" on Sunday due to a disrupted heart rhythm. This was reported by the club's press service.

"The medical staff decided to give Aleksandr Mitrovic time off during the training on Sunday due to slight fatigue and a disrupted heart rhythm," the club's statement said.

It is also mentioned that former forward of the English club "Fulham" will be under constant monitoring by specialists who will assess his condition.

After two months of absence due to a back muscle injury, Mitrovic returned to play and forgot about the substituted head in a match where "Al-Hilal" secured a victory against "Al-Faitha" 2-0 on Friday.

The Saudi sports newspaper reported that Mitrovic was hospitalized in Riyadh due to fatigue, and the attending physician recommended a full time off until the fatigue is addressed and eliminated.

In a short video, published by the club, Mitrovic said: "I am feeling well."

"Al-Hilal" will play against the Uzbek club "Pakhtekor" on Tuesday in the return match of the 1/8 final of the AFC Champions League, trying to compensate for the defeat in the first game 0-1.

Mitrovic joined "Al-Hilal" in August 2023 for a sum of around 50 million euros (approximately 54 million dollars), and at this moment has scored for the club 61 goals in 68 matches. In this season, he has played 25 matches, scoring 21 goals in all competitions.
