Al-Ahli of Jeddah is finalizing the details to extend the contract of Senegalese international goalkeeper Edouard Mendy for two seasons, with the new deal running until 2028. The Jeddah-based club signed the former Chelsea keeper in the summer of 2023 on a three-season contract. The 33-year-old goalkeeper helped the Jeddah giant win the 2024 AFC Champions League and the 2025 Saudi Super Cup. Al-Ahli is seeking stability through a series of strategic decisions.
