The Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) and the 'Sustainable Energy Association' signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday. The agreement aims to establish a joint framework for cooperation in scientific research, energy efficiency, and organizing specialized events. The memorandum was signed by GCCIA's CEO, Engineer Ahmed bin Ali Al Ibrahim, and the Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, Dr. Sami Abdelaziz Al-Naim, at the GCCIA's headquarters in Dammam. Al Ibrahim affirmed that this cooperation represents a qualitative addition to the Authority's role in spreading scientific knowledge, developing conservation and sustainability programs, and supporting studies that serve the future of energy in GCC countries.
